AAPA is currently in its development stages.

The 4th of May 2004 was the launch and fundraiser for construction and development of a purpose built college for young musicians to develop their skills to enter into the entertainment industry.

The Australian Academy of Performing Arts has been designed by Gordon and Mat Irsak and will feature 40 Classrooms, 60 Practice rooms, 500 Seat Auditorium, cafe and other support facilities.
